In NYC, we are just coming out of the peak of the flu season (not fun) and one important way to Do More. is to be more proactive about your health. People often put-off finding a good doctor and making appointments because, let’s be honest, it ain’t easy. I recently read about this App called ZocDoc in Real Simple Magazine, and it is a great app that helps you find good doctors (has star reviews and comment from real patients, doc bios, doc specialties, etc.) and make appointment within minutes (available days and times are in the app). I’ve included a story below of how ZocDoc saved our New Years 2013.

True Story: This past holiday season in San Fran, I used ZocDoc when I caught the flu. We didn’t know any doctors in the area, so we used ZocDoc to find a emergency clinic that was open on New Year’s Eve! The place was convenient and the service was great – if we didn’t use ZocDoc it would’ve been a colossal pain to find help that day – so thanks ZocDoc!
